Your Business

Your Business
Before I begin, I want to stress that this web site only reveals one way of doing things.

It is my way. So what you read is my opinion based on my own results.
These are concepts and ideas based on trial and error and learning from eBooks, forums and actual conversations with people.
It works for me, but keep in mind that there may be better ways to do things.

There are however certainly characteristics that are prevalent in every successful online business marketer.
Every successful online business marketer is:

- Relentless
- A Leader
- Disciplined

Your Business
Relentless :
Successful online business marketers plan their work and work their plan. They are constantly building pages and promoting them. They have a system that they replicate and they are relentless in replicating this system. They aren’t spending all day, every day, in the forums.
The trick is to limit your forum time every day. Someone in one of the forums I was in recently said something like, “I just keep my browser open all day for this forum and I just keep hitting the refresh button to see if any new topics come up.”
What a waste of time. Spend ½ or an hour each day in the forums, then get back to working.
Personally, I spend less than 20 minutes a day in my favorite forums. I login once in the morning and sometimes in the evening if I’m bored.
Of course, if you’re a beginner or you don’t yet have money rolling in, then you should probably be spending more time in the forums. Ultimately, forums are both a great learning tool and a drain on your time. So, you need to be careful how you use them.

Your Business
A Leader:
You might wonder what being a leader has to do with online business marketing.
Here is what I basically mean.
People who are not successful check the forums before they try anything. If they get a good idea and their gut is telling them to do something, they don’t do it – they check to see what everyone else is doing. Leaders trust themselves and make bold moves when their instincts tell them to do so. They don’t go check the forums first to see what everyone else is doing.
Remember, be your own guru. Trust yourself first and foremost.
If you see 10 people using a piece of software a certain way, but your gut is telling you to use it differently, then trust yourself.
This is the first step toward breaking out of a rut, if you are in one.

Your Business
Disciplined
I wake up in the morning and start working before I even check my e-mail.
I do this day in and day out. I often don’t check my e-mail until noon, when I’ve finished doing the important stuff in my agenda.Discipline in this case means creating a routine and sticking to it.

The Five Commandments To Success:

1) Passion is the key to resolve.
You must know why you are starting your home-based business. You must know exactly what you want and what price you are willing to pay to get it.

2) Resolve simply means doing whatever it takes to be successful and sticking with it even after your initial enthusiasm has worn thin.
Knowing why you are doing your business is the key to passion, and the only way to maintain your resolve.

3) Self-discipline is extremely important in your new business.
The #1 reason for not achieving success in any business is a lack of self-discipline.
No matter what business you choose to pursue you will have to take daily action if you want to build a large and profitable business.
If you do a little each day, you may be surprised at how much you can accomplish and how easy it really is to succeed.

4) Patience is a must.
Rome wasn't built in a day!
While we are able to make money quickly with our opportunities, the big money that comes with teaching, training and mentoring others will take time.
It is important to realize that, from time to time, not all things will happen as you expect.
Some things will happen more quickly and some more slowly.
Success WILL happen if you are patient and persistent.
When it does, it will come so quickly you will wonder where it has always been!

5) Persistence is the most important overall key to success.
If you are frustrated because things you have tried in the past didn't work, don't be. You need to remember that success is a process!
