We purchased this for our daughter for Christmas. It was easy to install, she did it herself. The unit has worked beautifully. She found it easy to use. In fact, she has not gone a single day without using this tablet since the 25th. The size is very good, she has found that it is fine for the graphics that she is creating. She would have liked an 8x11 inch unit, but we could not afford one. The full page size tablets seem to run about twice as much money, so if you can't, or don't want to, swing that kind of outlay I would highly recommend this product.

I haven't gotten into all that the tablet and pen can do, but what I have learned so far is great. The tutorial that came with this product certainly does help me to learn. My only wish is that the tutorial allowed you to try what it being taught, and if I did it incorrectly, the tutorial could tell me how to rectify my mistakes. On the whole I give this product a 5*. The cost is reasonable. It is nice having a cordless mouse.
Good tablet for the price January 3, 2009

I've only been using this tablet for about two weeks, but it's definitely what I was looking for. I think the price is right for a relatively large working area that has good precision and pressure sensitivity. The "paper feel" of the pen tip is definitely a step in the right direction too. The only negatives I would have to say about this are that I find the mouse kind of unnecessary, and I would like it if the scroll wheel on the tablet had left and right arrows, the way it has up and down arrows on it. Other than that, great buy.

Mine keeps powering off at night and sometimes during the day. Tried it on two different computers, same thing.
But it gets worse, due to the current snow storms back east, Wacom decided to close their intire facility for a week, so no tech support till after Christmas. Arrr...
Other than that, it works great!

I just ordered two of these for our Graphics artists and wow! These things are amazing and give so much more control than a regular mouse. The things you can do are endless! A great, great product!
Not that it makes a big difference but I was wondering why it came with Elements 5.0 instead of 6.0. (I also ordered the blue one and it came with 6.0.)
